The suspense claims lead in responsible for coordination of the daily work flow activities of the suspense claims examiners. The suspense claims lead performs the functions of the examiners associates as described in suspense claims examiner job description. Additionally, the suspense claims lead provides quality assurance checks and verification support for the team, as well as timely and frequent feedback to the examiners.
Tasks and responsibilities
-Participates in Conduent required employee training.
-Participates in CHDP/Specialist claims processing training.
-Assists with updating of Procedure Manuals, as required.
-Assists in Operational Redness Testing, as required.
All other phases:
-Coordinates activities on Suspense Examiners.
-Assists the Suspense Supervisor in monitoring workflow of the Unit.
-Researches and enters information from imaged documents into the system as appropriate.
-Meets and exceeds daily standards for records entered, accuracy, customer service and quality.
-Verifies the work of others for accuracy and completeness.
-Assists the Supervisor and Edit Resolution Manager in overall success of the Department.
Required Education / Experience Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum one year leadership in a medical claims processing environment.
-Minimum of two years of suspended claims processing experience within the Medi.Cal claims organization.
-Work well with all stuff and business contacts, and have good organizational skills and decision-making ability.
-Ability to multi-task and work independently.
