The Express (EXP) Delivery Driver provides an excellent opportunity for the Class A driver with less than a year experience to join and grow with the company. The EXP Driver is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of special delivery product to customers; is responsible for retrieving and distributing company mail and other related company tasks. This position requires the safe operation of company provided equipment and is considered SAFETY SENSITIVE.
Drives designated equipment to deliver product to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Dates, stocks, and rotates product upon delivery; collects payment in accordance with payment instructions; completes credit requests as needed.
Assists with accurate distribution of route bags and keys.
Interacts appropriately with onboard computer system.
Delivers outgoing mail to post office; picks up incoming mail from post office box and delivers to home office if applicable; transfers inter-office mail at the same time.
Meets or exceeds company productivity standards.
Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, reports injuries/accidents immediately, demonstrates safe behavior at all times, especially when using company property and/or operating equipment or vehicles.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple notes
Basic math skills
Exceptional listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of on-board computer, such as Cadec, preferred
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of 21 years of age
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years route delivery experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Class C driver's license (Class A preferred)
Clean DMV printout (2 or less points)
