Position Summary: Plans, directs, coordinates, and implements the human resources management activities of Wood Rodgers, Inc. to maximize the strategic use of human resources in the functional areas of strategy, employee relations, compensation, recruitment, policies and procedures, benefits, safety, and regulatory compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Plans, implements, directs and monitors HR policies and objectives to assist the organization in meeting its business objectivesConducts recruitment effort and oversees hiring practicesDesigns and implements organizational development and change management initiativesProvides coaching and counseling on employee relations issues and performance managementMonitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessaryImplements and annually updates compensation programPrepares and maintains employee handbook on policies and proceduresCreates and rewrites job descriptions as necessaryOversees administration of benefits plans, including open enrollmentDevelops and maintains Affirmative Action Plans, files EEO-1 annually, maintains reports to conform to EEO regulationsLeads process implementation and improvement activities for all HR functional areasOversees HRIS database administration and reporting in coordination with PayrollManages direct reportsProvides HR metrics to managementIdentifies and creates leadership development programsOther duties and responsibilities required for the positionSupervisory Responsibilities: HR staff Fiscal Responsibilities: Department budgetEducation and Experience:5-10 yearsandrsquo; experience handling essential HR functionsBachelorandrsquo;s degree requiredADP Workforce Now experience preferredSPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Thorough knowledge of HR functional areas and understanding of legal and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsExcellent oral, written and presentation skillsProven success in building solid HR teamExcellent coaching and consulting skillsOutstanding time management and organization skillsMaintains effective relationships at all levels of the organization Equipment Used:PCCopierPrinter Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Required to travel (drive/fly/etc.) to remote offices to provide support to remote staff. Work Environment: Work is performed in a professional office environment that has a moderate noise level.
