Robert Half Technology has an immediate opportunity for a Tier I Technical Support Technician to join a First Class Service Desk for our client in Sacramento. This will be a highly accountable Service Desk/Remote Desktop environment, you will be interacting with high level Executives and individuals with minimal technical knowledge so being customer service oriented is a must. Our client is a commercial construction company that provides services in the Western United States for commercial office, retail, multi-family residential, hospitality, healthcare, education, and the entertainment sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an expanding IT department. As a Tier 1 Technical Support Technician you will provide technical support to over 1200 internal employees for computer hardware, operating system, networking connectivity, desktop and business applications, printing, and email. In the seat, you will receive and screen incoming requests from internal customers via telephone, email, chat or website, and properly identify services to be performed. You will log, track, and resolve requests via ticketing system and maintain or exceed Service Level Agreements to business customers.
