We are looking for a seasoned product training and delivery expert to lead our technical field enablement efforts focused on Oracle’s massive sales force. Your key accountabilities will be as follows:
Build and manage technical field training team for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure products.
Define worldwide technical training deployment strategy.
Interface with worldwide regions to drive and track training and enablement for technical sellers.
Recruit, build and manage a team of product training experts focused on delivering field enablement, technical hands on training.
Lead and execute the product roadmap for the development and deployment of enablement resources for internal field customers to ensure product understanding and use.
Institute tracking mechanism to monitor all stages individuals technical training progress.
Event & Program Management – coordinate and manage all aspects of technical training events.
Manage team participation in global training events – content, delivery.
Manage weekly and monthly training infrastructure supporting outbound enablement team’s standard events.
Ensures that documentation, training curriculum, and forums all share the same voice and quality and that it covers field technical learning needs at all stages from implementation to product upgrades.
Collaborate with Product Management, R&D and the Solutions teams to leverage on customer product feedback.
Provide real time feedback on training content and modifications to continuously improve quality.
Collaborates with marketing to determine the availability of customer learning resources and opportunities such as webinars or meet-ups.
To deliver on your accountabilities – we are looking for following qualifications:
10 years of experience in training delivery or product enablement roles in an enterprise environment.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to hire and scale teams.
Ability to create detailed product training enablement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform.
Deep understanding of cloud competitive landscape; customer priorities and challenges.
Experience partnering and engaging with engineering, product, sales, marketing and business development teams.
Strong technical acumen, communication and interpersonal skills.
5 years experience with customer enablement and content development or technical documentation.
Expertise with innovative development technologies, learning tools and delivery methods.
Experienced in creating and delivering product documentation and customer education collateral including videos, webinars, written collateral and virtual training.
Strong ability to take highly technical product information and turn it into comprehensive content.
Strong ability to collaborate and information share across teams with the result of creating effective customer enablement and engagement material.
Bachelor degree and MBA preferred
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 of software engineering or related experience preferred.
