CPQ Software Developer - Cloud

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Product Release is seeking Configuration

Analysts who will work within the Product Release team to administer Oracle’s

internal installations of Oracle CPQ, a Configuration, Pricing, and Quoting

application. The role will involve both daily maintenance and release

work as well as design/development activities. Specifically, a Config

Designer will be expected to work with Product Managers and Sales Operations to

design configuration models and work with Configuration Developers to ensure

models are built to specifications. He/She will also help define business

processes, develop and implement enhancements using the functionality available

in the “Administration Platform”, and to test and troubleshoot application

issues, providing appropriate feedback to Oracle’s CPQ IT and development

teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environmentand work as part of a team or independently to achieve objectives

  • Strong problem solving skills and technical aptitude

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic frontend user interface / user experience skills

  • Familiarity with quote to cash and/or sales operations

  • Basic knowledge of software programming best practices(undergraduate degree that included some computer science coursework orequivalent experience)

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • The ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of BigMachines CPQ Configuration, Commerce, and Document Engine modules,including BML and BMQL a plus – Blue Belt Certification ideal

Assists with analyzing complex

business problems to be solved with automated systems.

As part of a software project implementation team assists in implementing

software projects by mapping business processes, producing documentation,

establishing acceptance testing criteria.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely

independently within defined policies and procedures. Key skills and abilities

include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication,

process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel as

necessary. Prefer 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
