The Oracle Applications Cloud Transition Consultant(s) focuses on working with our current and future clients to develop a transition plan to Oracle Cloud applications from their current on-Premise environment.

This role will work as a team with other consultants in similar roles to create a customize path for our clients who are interested in transitioning their current HCM/ERP on-Premise systems to Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP application suites or models.

This consultant will also support Oracle Cloud HCM or ERP implementation teams when not directly involved with Oracle Cloud Transition or Roadmap assessment activities, as project managers or team leads.

The applicant will necessarily require broad and deep skillsets, with significant understanding of HCM or ERP/Financials Oracle Cloud application capability and a clear understanding of the underlying Oracle Cloud technology. This includes experience / expertise with Oracle Cloud integrations, conversions, reporting and or analytics associated with Oracle Cloud application environments.

Additionally, a clear understanding of Oracle Cloud patch, upgrade, and testing maintenance requirements and processes is important. Understanding the various approach options to migrate in whole or part to client environments from legacy/on-Premise environments is also important.

The client Cloud Transition or Roadmap assessments that are the key focus of this role, will generally consist of:

  • A summary or high level representation of the areas of key fit and non-fit related to the targeted Oracle Cloud applications and the source of legacy on-Premise client applications.

  • The lessons learned in migrating applications to Oracle Cloud and how they specifically apply to individual clients

  • The general, optimum and recommended approach to migrate the legacy on-Premise data to Oracle Cloud and the recommend preparatory and planning steps the client should undertake

  • The impacts of the current client IT organization related to both migration and future state support of the new Oracle Cloud application environments

  • The client specific impacts to the client s current business organization during the migration and immediately following the Oracle Cloud solution implementation

  • A Roadmap plan with specific next steps and multi-phase plan components for the client

  • All of the above to be presented to client management and key stakeholders

Some work involved will be billable, some will not. These roles will work on client sites and remote, with an estimated travel between 50% to 75% .

When not performing "roadmap" or Cloud transition work, these Consulting professionals will work as Project Managers or Team Leads on actual client engagements.

These roles will be expected to develop a strong network to support the development of up-to-date and specific knowledge of relevant industries, application products, and technical knowledge.
