Oracle Consulting Practice Director - WMS Vertical - NetSuite Professional Services in Rocklin, California
This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.
Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

The PracticeDirector Warehouse Management Software (WMS) has the primaryresponsibility to help lead and build a world class Practice for one of the company spremier business units. This involves driving customer success andretention leading to top line growth, client referenceability, andprofit.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->10 years of overall relevant professional experience anddemonstrated success in building and running a professional services function,including significant experience in application solution consulting leadershiproles, and ideally with large consulting and/or software providers.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Specific experience consulting to and/or working within WMS lineof business enterprise scale organizations.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->A strong leader who has managed large teams and revenue streams.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Strong background in mid-market and enterprise-level SolutionDelivery and Project Management, including experience developing work-breakdownstructures and project plans.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm, leading systemsintegrator, or the professional services practice of a leading software firm isof primary interest.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Demonstrated experience in translating customer businessrequirements into workable software solutions
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Someone very comfortable working closely with the sales team andhelping to close deals. Must have the skills to build a business andadvise the team on improving delivery but with an emphasis on sales.
