The incumbent operates ultrasound equipment to perform ultrasound and non-invasive vascular imaging procedures for neonates, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Follows standard, accepted protocols and guidelines established by the Medical Director.
Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation, physiology, anatomy and non-invasive vascular imaging as represented by ultrasound techniques, currently accepted diagnostic ultra sonographic and non-invasive vascular imaging procedures.
Perform diagnostic ultra sonographic and non-invasive vascular procedures with a high level of expertise, ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal pathology, accurately interpret medical charts.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or board eligible
