Dignity Health Clinical Support Coordinator, Full Time in Carmichael, California
Under the direction of the designated Manager or designee, the incumbent assists with the monitoring of the employees assigned to the above unit to ensure a safe and secure environment for all who enter Mercy San Juan Medical Center. The incumbent also has initial responsibility for the smooth running of the unit in the best interest of patient care. Under general supervision, regularly performs a variety of supervisory and complex duties, as outlined below, involving review or processing which regularly requires the interpretation and application of specialize technical or program knowledge and exercises a high degree of independence, initiative and originality with little day-to-day supervision.
_Experience: _in a health care medical, clerical setting 3 years. Associates degree Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in a health related field or equivalent experience. Experience ordering and procedure scheduling in hospital systems Medical Terminology. Specific knowledge of regulatory requirements related to confidentiality, release of patient information and quality improvement.
_Preferred: _Supervisory experience. Experience in Heartlab PACS, McKesson PACS, Emix, Radnet, Cerner, MS4, EFR, Teletracking, Lawson, and Mac Lab.
